Standards & Eligibility Criteria
I. Core Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for membership in Greatest Families, a family must meet at least one of the following foundational criteria:
Financial Legacy
Verifiable family net worth of $100 million USD or more, sustained across one or multiple generations.
Wealth must originate from long-term enterprise, stewardship, or intergenerational capital, rather than recent speculative or opportunistic activity.
Dynastic Heritage
Membership in a historically recognized noble house, royal lineage, or dynastic institution, with documented continuity and societal impact.
Historic Contribution
Demonstrated, multi-generational or singular global or national significance in fields such as:
Science and discovery
Public leadership or statesmanship
Philanthropy and humanitarianism
Cultural or intellectual advancement
Religious or philosophical influence
II. Ethical and Reputational Standards
Criminal Integrity
Active members of the Honorary Family Council must not have serious criminal convictions, particularly involving corruption, fraud, organized crime, or crimes against humanity.
Discretion and Conduct
Families are expected to uphold standards of discretion, respectability, and continuity of values. Repeated and public breaches of decorum may result in internal review and disciplinary action.
Authenticity and Documentation
All narratives, genealogical trees, and family claims must be verifiable, historically grounded, and free from intentional fabrication. Falsification may lead to immediate removal from the platform.
Non-Commercialization Clause
The platform shall not be used to promote commercial products, political propaganda, or ideological campaigns. It is a legacy-driven environment, not a marketplace or media channel.
III. Cultural and Institutional Norms
Legacy Must Be Curated, Not Claimed
Greatness is demonstrated through continuity, not declared through popularity.
Sovereignty of Judgment
The platform does not rely on external institutions, governments, or sanctioned lists to determine worthiness. All decisions are made by the Honorary Family Council, based on the internal standards of the community.
Merit-Based Representation
No family has automatic privilege. Membership and council participation must be earned, validated, and continually upheld.
Intergenerational Purpose
Families are encouraged to include heirs and future custodians in the process of building their archive and managing legacy decisions.
Respect for Global Heritage
The platform honors diverse cultural traditions and recognizes greatness in all its civilizational forms — from merchant dynasties and academic lineages to aristocratic and tribal leadership.
IV. Enforcement and Review
The Honorary Family Council holds final authority in interpreting and enforcing these standards.
Reviews may be initiated in response to credible reports of misconduct or reputational crisis.
Sanctions may include content removal, suspension, or full revocation of membership.
A family previously removed may submit a formal appeal or reapplication after a minimum of one year, subject to Council review.
